It is so you can practice your group number and recieve some feedback on your classical piece. it should only run for 1 hour to 1.25 hours. Please let me know of conflicts, because if you are not there, you may be the one to make the group look silly ;!

let me know!!!!

"Yesterday, I had an awesome voice practice.  I was able to hit my high D without you. It also wasn't necky.  Yeah!! I'm making progress.  Also I love my classical piece.  The ending pages are so cool.  I had one of my friends look it up on you tube and she is excited for me to try out for that competition." -student via email

OR

"Deb, I had the hardest time remembering how to do my breathing exercises. Would you help me remember so I don't practice it wrong all week?" -student via phone call

OR

"I don't like this exercise. I avoid doing it when I go home from lessons." -student via email

I want to hear it all. Shoot me an email. Call me. Let me know so that I help in whatever way I can. You are all so awesome! I love to hear your successes and things you wish you could change. Obviously it's nice if you have some tact, but I'll take it whatever way I can get it. Thank you to students who DO give me feedback. All of you others, please feel free to tell me such things. I want to help you do your best.

spring break

Spring Break for our studio is March 12-16...which means no lessons next week!

I'll remind you here that March 23 is the final masterclass for the semester and that is a FRIDAY at 630. You are to be prepared with your classical piece. Emily Hansen will be our guest teacher. You will need your accompanist. It is best dress. We will be practicing our group numbers in the following order:

630-640: I won't Say
640-650: That's What Friends are For
650-700: Colonol's March

Please be on time for your group numbers and I hope to be out of there by 830. Yes, you should clear your schedule and plan to be to the whole thing.

Yes, you should take comments down on your own paper and turn them into me so I can give them out.

Marshall, Nancy, Sylvia, and other beginners with me should plan on singing, but can change your minds if you become too overwhelmed. Don't decide anything until the masterclass, but plan ON performing so that you will come prepared so that if you feel so inclined, you may still perform. talk about a rambling sentence.

Good luck! Happy Spring Break!
