Next Masterclass

So...We'll be doing Sister Act Medley. I'm actually super excited. But I'm not buying all your music, so you'll have to get it yourself. Here is the link. You'll need to have it in the Nov 7th lessons so that you can find out what part you want to do. We'll only have 2 rehearsals, so you'll have to learn it mostly on your own and in lessons. I will not have you perform it if you are not ready. So, be ready.

GREAT SINGING yesterday. Seriously. I loved what she had to say to so many of you. We will be having a thank you card for you to sign at lessons. Don't forget to sign it, cause I might let you get away without.

This is to confirm your reservation of our Sanctuary and Prelude schedule as follows:

Prelude - 14th October for the 11:00am Service - Please plan to arrive at the Church by 10:45 am and touch base with our Priest or myself on arrival.  As the prelude serves as an opportunity for our parishioners to clear and prepare their minds for the Service to follow, the piece you (or your student) chooses to perform should be of a soothing or meditative nature, and 3.5 to 5 minutes in length.  We invite you to remain for the Service if you so desire; you will be most welcome!

1st Master Class - 18th October from 6:30 - 9:30pm


Prelude - 11th November for the 9:00am Service - Please plan to arrive at the Church by 8:45am and touch base with our Priest on arrival (see above for further instructions).

2nd Master Class - 15th November from 6:30 - 9:30pm


Prelude - 11th November for the 11:00am Service - Please plan to arrive at the Church by 10:45am and touch base with our Priest or myself on arrival (see above for further instructions).

Studio Recital - 30th November from 6:30 - 9:30pm

Should anything change, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you.  Until the 14th then;

Recital and Masterclass Dates

Masterclass 1: Oct. 18th, 7:00pm at St. John's Episcopal Church

Recital: Nov 30 at 7pm at St. John's Episcopal Church

Options for discussion:

We can do a traditional masterclass: We have a guest come in and evaluate our performance OR we can do a learn a choir medley of SSA (Mitchell, you'd sing A) by either Gershwin or other and perform it at Terrace Grove again. Input, please.

Fall Voice 2012

If you are interested, I have 9 spots left for fall. I will only be teaching on Wednesdays 1 to whenever and Thursdays 12:15 to 2:30 and then prolly 4 to whenever. I would like to know how many students I need to leave spots for before the school year starts so I can let USU know how many of those students I'm willing to take.

Everything will remain the same from the previous semester. Refer to syllabus here (above in the tab section) for questions regarding payment and policy. 

I have missed you all so much! Hope you all had a wonderful summer!
